By Botswana out of the beautiful Bey Shah daughter, Rohara Shahblee, Afrikhan Bey is a halter champion in both the open and Egyptian Event arenas ncluding Champion Colt in the prestigious Egyptian Breeders Challenge class at the 2003 Egyptian Event.

In Western Pleasure training for only three months, Afrikhan Bey was Champion Western Pleasure Junior Horse in his first show - GAHA's Summer Classic - (Class A) only five months into his new career.  In 2006, he was 6th in Region Twelve's very competitive Junior Western Pleasure Championship and the Champion Novice Western Pleasure horse at the Egyptian Event. 

Afrikhan Bey, in his first 2007 outing, won his inaugural ride at the Rancho California Show.  "A Bey" then won Region Two Top 5 honors in

Ladies Western Side Saddle. 

He was the 2008 US Egyptian Event's Western Pleasure Open Champion, and Region 14 Reserve Champion Ladies Western Side Saddle and Top 5 JTR Western Pleasure.

This is a fancy and willing performer, with extremely soft feet and that typcially wonderful personality that his sire is known for producing.   

His current owner will continue to support his training into these mature performance levels and remains committed to matching this special gelding with the right amateur.
