TF Tsanzibar, for the second year in a row, was a Top Five in Region Twelve’s always competitive Western Pleasure Junior Championship with Dale Brown and was the 2007 Egyptian Event's Western Pleasure Champion with Peri Tilghman (pcitured here).

Congratulations to Mr. Joseph Chenevert of Quebec, Canada, on his purchase of Rose of Fujairah. Joseph witnessed her Top Ten wins in the 2-Year Old Futurity Fillies & World Class 2-Year Old Fillies classes at this year's Egyptian Event.  Rose headed north to her new home from Lexington and within weeks added Top Five honors in Region 18's Two-Year Old Mare & Senior Mares classes.  She finished her show season as the Junior & Grand Champion Mare at the AHAEC.  Good luck to Joseph & Rose!

Congratulations to Mr. Marty Garrett of Cairo, Egypt on his purchase of TF Shamaal.  Marty witnessed his Top Ten World Class Colts & Top Five Straight Egyptian Futurity Colts wins at this year's Egyptian Event.  Shamaal will first travel to Germany to be shown by Mary Lang as a two-year old during the 2008 show season before traveling on to Egypt to begin his career as a breeding stallion.  Good luck to Shamaal & Marty!

It was a glorious early spring weekend at the farm and we could not be happier for our guests and participants. Thank you Dale Brown and Jody Strand for your relaxed but lively interaction. You presented even the most complicated elements with ease and made the entire weekend fun for all of us including our special guest Ms. Samantha Mattocks, Features Editor for The Arabian Magazine.

We also thank Jane and John for, once again, keeping the food and refreshment true to the reputation of Talaria Farms.
