STALLIONS

Senior Stallions

Talaria Farms is extremely proud to stand three pure bred senior stallions, two Straight Egyptian – Botswana and Imperial Shehaab - and one Polish/Crabbet –

S Khoncherto.  Royally bred, these stallions offer bloodlines to generations of brilliant Arabian show and breeding horses.

Botswana’s get wins are cataloged on his stallion page.

S Khoncherto has sired far fewer foals but one is a Canadian National and Scottsdale Top Ten halter gelding and, in 2006, was a US Nationals Top Ten Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse.  Khoncherto, provides breeders with lines to Bey el Bay, Bay-Abi, Aza Destiny, Khemosabi, and *Bask.  Khoncherto brings good looks, strong bone, wonderful conformation and magical movement to the breeding shed, as evidenced by TF Afrikhan Chant, a 2006 colt out of Botswana's first daughter, TF Kalahara (out of Rohahra Shahblee) and he also offers color when bred to pinto mares.

Imperial Shehaab arrived in January 2008, to stand at Talaria Farms for the 2008 breeding season.  We are honored to be entrusted with this magnificent stallion and thank the Shehaab Syndicate for their confidence in us.

Junior Stallions

TF Afrikan Alkhemi is a 2003 Straight Egyptian Botswana son (out of Ramses Novaglori by The Elixir),  This handsome bay colt was the  2006 Region 12 Reserve Champion Futurity Stallion, Reserve Champion Stallion, ATH at the 2006 Egyptian Event, and Champion Stallion ATH at the 2007 Event.  Alkhemi, at present, is being retained as back-up for his sire.  You can see him on the 2006 & 2007 News Pages as well as by clicking on his photo above.

In late 2005, Talaria Farms purchased a Straight Egyptian yearling colt, Madhin Nile Moon (Farid Nile Moon x Imperial Mahreena by Imperial Madheen).  This young colt is also Dahman Shawan in strain and offers very similar sire and tail female lines to Botswana.

TF Afrikhan Shah is a 2003 Egyptian-sired son of Botswana out of a Bey Shah daughter, Rohara Shahblee.  He was the 2004 US Egyptian Event Reserve Champion EBC colt.  Few have walked through the Talaria barn without stopping or taking a second or even third look back at this remarkably beautiful horse.  Afrikhan Shah won the 2007 US Egyptian Event Most Classic Head Male unanimously, and won the 4 -5 year old World Class Stallions class in 2008 before heading to Belgium where he stands at European Training Center with Johanna Ullstrom.

TF Royal Shahbazz, a 2006 Egyptian related colt, by Falcon out of Maya Naufali, is one of those horses in our stables who just wants to be seen more than anyone else.  He loves the spotlight, loves himself, and will not be a secret for much longer.  If you are looking for a sleeper, you should consider visiting soon.  He may just take your breath away.
