STALLIONS

Talaria Farms stands five stallions, including the U.S. Egyptian Event's number one leading sire (2007 - 2011), Botswana.  Royally bred, all of these stallions offer bloodlines to generations of brilliant Arabian show and breeding horses.

Just arrived from Cairo, Egypt, Thamer Al Khaled (2010 Reserve National Champion Stallion of Egypt) on lease from Al Bawady Stud, brings much needed outcross bloodstock to our program as well as to the entire US Egyptian and open Arabian horse community.

TF Afrikhan Shah is a 2003 Egyptian-sired son of Botswana out of a Bey Shah daughter, Rohara Shahblee.  He was the 2004 US Egyptian Event Reserve Champion EBC colt.  Few have walked through the Talaria barn without stopping or taking a second or even third look back at this remarkably beautiful horse.  Afrikhan Shah won the 2007 US Egyptian Event Most Classic Head Male unanimously, and won the 4 -5 year old World Class Stallions class in 2008 before heading to Belgium where he currently stands at European Training Center with Johanna Ullstrom.  Frozen semen is available for select mares.

TF Royal Shahbaz, a 2006 Egyptian related colt, by Falcon out of Maya Naufali, is one of those

horses who just wants to be seen more than anyone else.  He loves the spotlight, loves himself, and will not be a secret for much longer.  He was the 2011 Scottsdale International Breeders Classic Champion Senior Stallion, as well as a 2010 US Nationals Top Ten Jr Stallion, 2009 Region XII Reserve Champion Stallion & 2009 US Nationals Top Ten Futurity Colt.  If you are looking for a sleeper, you should consider visiting him soon.  He may just take your breath away.

TF Afrikan Alkhemi is a 2003 Straight Egyptian Botswana son (out of Ramses Novaglori by The Elixir),  This handsome bay colt was the  2006 Region 12 Reserve Champion Futurity Stallion, Reserve Champion Stallion, ATH at the 2006 Egyptian Event, and Champion Stallion ATH at the 2007 Event.  Alkhemi, at present, is being retained as back-up for his sire.  You can see him on the 2006 & 2007 News Pages as well as by clicking on his photo above.
